Q. What age can children join?
A. Children can join from age 4.
Our preschool classes are designed to help young children develop coordination and learn basic manners while enjoying karate in an age-appropriate environment.
Q. Is it okay if my child has never done karate before?
A. Absolutely.
Most of our students start with no prior karate experience. We provide careful instruction based on each student’s level, so beginners are always welcome.
Q. Is it okay if I don’t speak Japanese?
A. Yes, absolutely.
We provide instruction in both English and Japanese, depending on each student’s needs. You do not need to speak Japanese to participate.
Q. Can non-Japanese students join?
A. Absolutely.
Students of various nationalities train at our dojo. Instruction is available in English, and non-Japanese students can enjoy training while learning about Japanese culture, etiquette, and values through karate.
Q. Can girls join?
A. Of course.
Many girls enjoy training at our dojo. Through karate, students can develop confidence, discipline, and respect while working toward their individual goals.
Q. Can siblings join together?
A. Yes.
Many families have siblings training with us. We will recommend the appropriate class based on each child’s age and level.
Q. Can I take a free trial lesson or observe a class?
A. Yes.
Free trial lessons and class observations are available throughout the year. Please feel free to contact us.
Q. What should I bring to a free trial lesson?
A. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring water or a sports drink.
A karate uniform is not required for your trial lesson. Information about uniforms and other equipment will be provided after enrollment.
Q. Can parents observe classes?
A. Yes.
Parents are welcome to observe their child’s training. Observation arrangements may vary by location, so please contact us for details.
Q. How much is the monthly fee, and how do I join?

Enrollment is open throughout the year. Whether you are a complete beginner or have previous karate experience, we will support you based on your individual level.
Q. Are there belt promotion tests?
A. Yes.
Our promotion tests evaluate not only karate techniques, but also etiquette, attitude, and each student’s effort in everyday training.
Q. Do students have to compete in tournaments?
A. No.
Tournament participation is optional. Many students train for personal growth, discipline, and physical development rather than competition. We provide instruction based on each student’s individual goals.
Q. Is parking available?
A. We do not have dedicated parking.
